From Office to Nature
#QSTG is an abbreviation for the German word Quereinsteiger (engl.: career changer). Before starting this project, Florian Wecker practiced as German licenced Attorney who decided to leave his desk behind to study Viticulture & Enology in Montpellier, Bordeaux and Lisbon. He gained practical experiences in vineyards and cellars while working for wineries in Alto Adige (Italy), Douro Valley (Portugal), Mendoza (Argentina) and Mosel Valley (Germany). When Florian met other career changing winemakers he decided to present small batches of his and their outstanding wines under the #QSTG label and tell their stories. Today Florian started his own winery jus naturae at the Mosel.
OUR Philosophy
We believe that less can be more, in particular when it comes to wine. As those wines are the best which reflect the broad potential of grape variety and terroir, we try to do as little intervention as possible in the vineyards and in the cellar. Therefore, we developed our #QSTG Constitution which summarizes the philosophy all #QSTG winemakers have in common:

Our Goal
We strive to develop #QSTG by having more and more outstanding winemakers from all around the world join this project. We realized that these people, who left their previous careers behind, are exceptionally passionate in what they are doing and start their "second" life as a winemaker with an entirely new perspective combined with the experience gained in their "first" life. This helps them to make things different and create an individual style of wine. Thereby #QSTG is able to offer its customers a great portfolio of small batches of fine artisanal wines.
